Décor douillet et confortable

Le canapé est bien confortable et l’on peut s’y installer près de la fenêtre qui donne sur le jardin aux couleurs d’automne. Détendu. Le regard se posa sur le spectacle de ces branches d’arbres dénudées qui vacillaient au rythme du vent alors que la pluie tapotait sur les carreaux.

Confortablement installée, c’est ainsi que l’idée pour ces mots a pris racine.

Commençons par un retour dans le temps. Une époque où un canapé confortable, dans le salon, servait de cadre à des réunions de groupes d’entraide pour l’alimentation des nourrissons. La séquence chronologique serait, à mon sens, la suivante : la dyade mère/parent-nourrisson se sent d’abord à l’aise avec l’idée de participer à la réunion du groupe de soutien de mère à mère/parent à parent. Ensuite, la dyade se sent à l’aise en compagnie de ses pairs et du pair-aidant. En conclusion, la dyade se sent à l’aise avec l’idée de parler de ses préoccupations en matière d’allaitement.

En parlant de présenter l’idée de se confier aux ressources de soutien à l’allaitement, jetons un coup d’œil à l’engagement de l’établissement à renforcer l’accessibilité des ressources communautaires appropriées et à y référer les dyades mère/parent-nourrisson. Comme on peut en déduire en parcourant les documents guides traitant des activités liées à la mise en œuvre de l’amélioration de la qualité comme l’IHAB/IAB.

Ces activités de mise en œuvre peuvent également donner aux professionnels de la santé du secteur périnatal l’occasion de participer à des ateliers éducatifs sur le renforcement des compétences en communication. Par exemple, en ce qui concerne le partage d’informations avec les dyades mère/parent-nourrisson sur les ressources de soutien à l’allaitement dans la communauté à leur sortie de l’établissement de santé. La pratique des compétences sur la façon de donner l’information d’une manière attentive et efficace peut être utile pour la dyade mère/parent-nourrisson.

Notamment pour soutenir la dyade qui peut être confrontée à des défis liés à l’alimentation du nourrisson.

Naturellement, le fait d’approfondir les connaissances sur les bénéfices tirés par certaines familles des discussions de groupe sur l’alimentation infantile conduit certainement à se sentir plus à l’aise et plus confiant pour orienter les dyades mère/parent-nourrisson vers les sources disponibles. Et, pratiquer les techniques de communication dans la convivialité, avec les membres de l’équipe, encourage sûrement la création d’environnements interactifs où chacun se sent détendu et à l’aise en compagnie des autres.
