Nouvelles directives pour l'IHAB aux États-Unis

Lorsque les directives BFHI revitalisées ont été publiées en 2018, les comités nationaux ont commencé à adapter les directives localisées dans le monde entier. En juillet, Baby Friendly USA a publié des directives mises à jour pour refléter les 10 étapes pour un allaitement réussi ainsi que les critères d'évaluation pour l'accréditation commençant en juin 2023. Les directives comprenaient également le matériel trouvé dans la boîte à outils de vérification des compétences de 2020, de sorte que ces documents reflètent un révision complète et approfondie du matériel sur lequel les hôpitaux s'appuient tout au long de leur parcours d'accréditation de l'IHAB.

Le document de 115 pages rassemble les 10 étapes avec les liens vers le guide global ainsi que des détails spécifiques aux États-Unis, dans un format qui intègre les critères d'évaluation et les compétences, ainsi que la justification de chacune des 10 étapes. Bien que les directives ne s'appliquent qu'aux établissements aux États-Unis, cela vaut le coup d'œil même si ce n'est pas là que vous pratiquez.

Comme le savent ceux qui ont suivi le déploiement à l'échelle mondiale, les fondements des 10 étapes et de l'IHAB ont connu peu de changements dans cette dernière révision. Les meilleures pratiques en matière de soins restent ancrées dans les mêmes principes qu'au moment du lancement de l'IHAB au début des années 90 : les bébés (et leurs parents) ont fondamentalement besoin des mêmes choses qu'à l'époque.

La revitalisation a cependant apporté de nombreuses preuves dans l'examen qui ont à la fois confirmé et approfondi la compréhension du pourquoi et du fonctionnement de l'IHAB. Ce qui n'est pas toujours aussi évident, c'est que l'IHAB revitalisée s'appuie également sur les domaines de la gestion du changement, de l'amélioration de la qualité et des principes d'apprentissage des adultes.

L'accent mis dans la nouvelle IHAB sur les principes d'apprentissage des adultes et en particulier sur la mesure des compétences est l'un des changements les plus importants pour le personnel, la direction et ceux qui créent et dispensent une formation pour eux.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use Student Access Information to provide accurate tracking to Users and Clients on completion and use of the courses, as well as for analysis on how to improve our services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, with your employer who needs to verify your completion or progress of your studies.
