Sur la corde à linge.

Il faisait un beau temps cette semaine. La température, parfaite pour étendre la lessive dehors, sur la corde à linge. Suspendue, la literie sèche au soleil et voltige au vent pour ensuite être disposée sur le lit.

La fraîcheur d’un lit confortable invite certes au repos. Rien de tel après une journée passée à jardiner et à se promener dehors.

Le repos (au lit) : Voilà un élément qui fait penser au décor d’un milieu obstétrical. Un milieu habitué à favoriser le confort de façon que les occupants prennent du repos. En souvenir, le lit, on le faisait au matin-changement de draps, couvertures étendues soigneusement afin de lisser tout pli. Souvent, à deux ; c’était nettement plus efficace et aussi c’était un agréable moment d’échanges entre collègues et parfois même avec la dyade mère/parent-nourrisson.

Plusieurs ont le privilège de contribuer au bien-être des dyades mère/parent-nourrisson dans un milieu où l’on est à implanter des programmes qualité tels que l’Initiative Hôpitaux amis des bébés (IHAB)/l’Initiative Amis des bébés (IAB).

L’exercice donne peut-être l’occasion de consulter des ouvrages qui traitent de sujets tels que le confort où l’on peut lire « aider la mère à trouver une position confortable ».[1] Et, amené sans doute, à se sensibiliser davantage sur les bienfaits qu’apporte un environnement confortable aux familles ainsi qu’au personnel de soins qui vaque à leurs soins. Puis, incite certes à porter attention aux facteurs contribuant au confort chez la dyade parent/mère-nourrisson.

S’engager à créer un environnement invitant au repos peut se traduire par un lit soigneusement habillé de literie fraîche ; geste simple pouvant être fait quotidiennement dans le but de contribuer au bien-être de tous, notamment celui de la dyade mère/parent-nourrisson.
