Chez nous, le paysage s’enneige tranquillement, dans l’attente de l’hiver et ses activités extérieures nous nous adonnons à des activités d’intérieur tel le triage de photos. D’où m’est venue l’idée de la thématique: La pertinence de l’endroit dans le rôle de soutien aux parents.
Précisons d’abord le sens du mot endroit : Endroit[1] ; lieu où l’on se trouve (position) | Partie du caractère, de la dimension morale d’une personne. Ensuite le sens de la photo (celle-ci a été prise il y a un certain temps, lors d’un voyage outre-mer dans un lieu près de l’équateur) : J’ai été émerveillé lorsque j’ai vu l’orientation du croissant[2] de lune visible dans le ciel nocturne. J’ai appris que l’orientation du croissant dépend de la latitude de la personne qui l’observe.
Un détail de grande importance si un souhaite attirer l’attention sur les caractéristiques soit par le dialogue ou par illustration. Croissant, lettre « C », bol, bateau, lettre « U » sont des mots qui peuvent se référer à la partie éclairée de la lune.
Enfin, pour soutenir la corrélation entre l’observation et le rôle des prestataires de soins de santé à aider les parents à adopter une position d’allaitement dite confortable et aider à la mise au sein|poitrine, voici une anecdote :
Un nouveau venu à l’équipe de soins néonatals invite une collègue d’expérience afin que celle-ci puisse observer et ensuite apporter du reflet sur l’aide offert au parent*.
Le novice s’est assis aux côtés de la dyade.
L’ambiance était calme, et la communication efficace.
Puis, d’un ton empreint de soutien, le novice a nommé quelques indicateurs (~ menton, lèvre inférieure, partie de l’aréole) visibles de son point de vue.
Le novice a également remarqué l’expression soudaine d’interpellation chez le parent ainsi que des mouvements de torsion du corps pour tenter de voir de côté.
Ainsi, en souriant et en offrant une brève explication, le novice a gracieusement modifié sa position (son endroit) afin d’amener l’attention sur les caractéristiques apparentes du point de vue du parent.
Le parent a souri à son tour. Et, la séance de counseling a doucement poursuivi son cours.
Enfin, l’observatrice a exprimé sa gratitude pour l’invitation et a souligné un détail d’une grande importance, qui a joué un rôle dans l’enrichissement professionnel; La pertinence de l’endroit.
Certains d’entre nous ont eu le privilège de participer à la mise en œuvre de programmes tels que l’IHAB/IAB, en tant qu’observateur. En particulier dans le soutien et le développement des compétences cliniques des nouveaux membres du personnel et ainsi priser la pertinence de l’endroit.
