Garder ce que nous apprenons

Le temps investi dans l'étude est précieux en soi, quel que soit le sujet ou combien nous l'utilisons finalement. Il n'est pas toujours nécessaire de poursuivre un « objectif » pour l'apprentissage - l'expérience à elle seule vaut bien l'effort qu'elle nécessite.

Cependant, lorsque nous étudions pour le développement professionnel, si nous ne nous accrochons pas à ce que nous avons appris, le temps et l'argent investis rapportent considérablement moins. Des cours bien conçus basés sur des compétences claires et définies intégreront de nombreuses tactiques nécessaires pour conserver le contenu longtemps après la fin des quiz. Les quiz et les exercices font plus que vérifier l'apprentissage, mais aident à consolider la rétention à long terme.

Bien que ce qui fonctionne pour chaque individu varie, voici quelques idées à considérer :

Créez et respectez un système de prise de notes : il existe des dizaines de systèmes et de styles de prise de notes, mais le plus important que le système spécifique que vous choisissez est de l'utiliser de manière cohérente et au fil du temps pour consolider ce que vous apprenez. Que vous conserviez des notes numériques, papier ou une combinaison, le processus de création de celles-ci est essentiel à l'apprentissage, quelle que soit l'excellente qualité des supports de cours.

Accordez-vous suffisamment de temps pour oublier (un peu!) : vous accorder suffisamment de temps pour oublier certains détails au fur et à mesure que vous avancez dans un cours peut sembler contre-intuitif, mais il existe de bonnes preuves que le « réapprentissage » des informations aide à la rétention. Accélérer le contenu peut être efficace, mais si vous ne vous accordez pas suffisamment de temps pour le traiter, cela peut vous laisser tout aussi rapidement.

Entraînez-vous avec différentes parties de votre cerveau : savoir quel « style » d'apprenant vous êtes est très utile au fur et à mesure que vous avancez dans vos études, mais quel que soit votre style d'apprentissage préféré, accéder à l'information de différentes manières aidera à cimenter les concepts. Un apprenant visuel bénéficie toujours des exercices kinesthésiques et des conférences enregistrées - ne vous enfermez pas.

Enfin, rappelez-vous que chacun de nous a des sujets qui viennent plus facilement que les autres lorsqu'il s'agit d'apprendre. Tenez compte du fait que certains sujets nécessiteront plus de temps et de concentration que d'autres et que cela peut changer au fil du temps à mesure que vous progressez dans votre carrière et que vous vous concentrez sur différents aspects de votre pratique.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
