Réfléchissant sur 40 ans

Dans les derniers articles de blog, nous avons examiné le Code international de commercialisation des substituts du lait maternel et d'autres aspects de l'étape 1. Avant de passer à l'étape 2, réfléchissons au 40e anniversaire des marques du Code. cette année avec un tour d'horizon des événements virtuels organisés dans le monde au cours du mois dernier :

Alors que l'étape 1 crée un environnement où les bonnes pratiques peuvent être mises en œuvre, la deuxième étape concerne la manière dont les compétences et les connaissances nécessaires pour mettre en œuvre les pratiques sont entre les mains de ceux qui éduquent et s'occupent des familles et de leurs enfants.

La formation des agents de santé, qu'ils soient professionnels ou bénévoles, a été un fondement de l'Initiative Amis des bébés depuis le tout début - reconnaissant que soutenir l'allaitement ne doit pas être une spécialité lointaine, mais une responsabilité partagée par tous ceux qui s'occupent des femmes enceintes et nouveaux parents.

Le BFHI revitalisé (2018) renouvelle cet engagement à s'assurer que tout le monde dans le cercle de soins possède les connaissances et les compétences nécessaires. Des documents nouveaux et mis à jour fournissent des cadres détaillés pour le personnel de développement professionnel et les éducateurs, en mettant davantage l'accent sur l'acquisition de compétences dans des domaines clés, plutôt que de proposer un programme fixe ou de cocher des heures. Dans les prochains blogs, nous verrons comment l'étape 2 revitalisée offre des opportunités d'augmenter les compétences de la main-d'œuvre qui s'occupe des parents et de leurs nouveaux bébés dans le monde entier - ainsi que les pièges potentiels.

We refer to this information as "Student Access Information"

When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Order Information and Student Access Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use Student Access Information to provide accurate tracking to Users and Clients on completion and use of the courses, as well as for analysis on how to improve our services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, with your employer who needs to verify your completion or progress of your studies. BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.
